On Thursday, Oct. 9, at The Biltmore Cabaret in Vancouver and Saturday, Oct. 11, at The Royal on Baker in Nelson, The Hastings Set Presents Kinnie Starr and Chin – An evening of new words and songs. Both Solo. Both Acoustic.
Since her last release Kinnie Starr has been busy at work recording new music for an upcoming record and has completed her first book, “How I Learned to Run”. “How I Learned to Run” features poetry and illustrations by Kinnie Starr and will be coming out in October (Order your copy here). Kinnie’s performance will include readings from her new book as well as new tracks. A number of Kinnie’s new tracks have been recorded and produced at The Hastings Set Studio with Chin. Although busy at work producing music for others, Chin has found time to produce new and very personal tracks for his own upcoming release.
Both Kinnie Starr and Chin give us a sneak peak of new works and music on this stripped down night…stripped down to the essentials of great voices, talent, artistry and expression, definitely a night not to be missed.
